So Chavis was considered lipstick on a pig to you huh?

A lot of people are butthurt about all these articles and preseason predictions

Yeah so what? Me personally I don't like them because they do half arse research siting how our defense will regress because of the people we lost but give a pass to Florida, A&M and UGA and they've lost just as much(starting talent).

I can't say too much on them about the offense articles, but hiring a former NFL coach and OC who has mentored some of the greatest QBs, TE's, and RBs of the past decade, does not equal putting lipstick on a pig.

I've seen a few of your recent posts and you sound like this guy I use to work with before the 2011 season. Kept telling him don't believe in the doom and gloom and decline(this after the spring game and JJ arrest). After that offseason of uncertainty, we had possibly our best season ever.

quote:

You should have been butthurt about our offense the last 8 years, we'd have a few more championships. After all, what happens on the field is what really matters.

We've averaged over 30 ppg 4 times in the last 8 years and only 1 time in 8 years have we averaged less than 29.5 and that was 2009.

Ranking our best two offenses over last 8 years with this year's spread/option/no huddle nation:

2007 19th with 6361
2006 41st with 5571

But if we do every season's ranking in the year they were ranked you'd get:

2005 #34
2006 #14
2007 #9
2008 #51
2009 #102
2010 #81
2011 #57
2012 #77

DBB, you are correct about UF, UGA and A&M losing a lot of players but are getting a pass. UGA lost just as much talent on D and had a worse D last yr than us. Everyone is chalking UGA up as a loss.

Why is it that if someone gives their opinion hat LSU will not be very good, the tards say they have no idea what they are talking about? If that same someone were to say he thought LSU was going to be good, they praise him and try to explain why this guy really knows his stuff. The LSU tards are a fickle bunch. Y'all need to relax and enjoy the sport and not get your panties in a wad over what someone else says about your team.

I'm not just talking about his comments about LSU btw. He's just in general a moron. Why I said college football. Some of the shite he says about other teams in general is just dumb. He's a Bama homer.

With that said you can GFY...

Buy an Athlon magazine and see for yourself. I bought one like two seasons ago and it's worse than Phil Steel.

Mett to this point has been average at best, I hope Cam can change it this year. As in reference to the Honey Badger, I wish him well. I can't believe we are getting bull shite from a Vol! When is the last time Tenn. was relevant?

I don't really care if Mathieu was not invited to New York. Why does it matter anyway. He no longer played for LSU and hasn't now for a while. As far as the offense time will tell. The proof will be on the field.

I'm not going to sit here and list specific examples. It's an opinion. Read it and make your own opinion. I've read it and listened to him on the radio and IMO he's a moron. I'm not saying that just because I disagree with what he's saying. I say that because he is so consistently wrong about some some of the shite he spouts off. Then when he is wrong and someone asks him about it he gets all butt hurt.

The Mathieu comment should be a good enough example honestly.

frankly scarlett....I don't give a damn.

just more motivation for Mett and Cam and proves once again that blah, blah, blah is just that. our o will only improve if, as a unit, they all step up their game. offense is a form of violent correography and if all parts are in sync and commit to their assignment it is a beautiful thing.

get much better.

You must read a lot of Internet journalism to say he's at it "again". I've never heard of this guy. His opinion matters to me about as much as a random poster on this site.

People get their jimmies rustled over some of the most pedestrian shite. Fact of the matter is that unless journalists prove themselves as good writers AND knowledgable sports fans, just because they call themselves journalists doesn't mean they are good writers or any more knowledgable than the average person with an opinion and a word press page.

Like I've said many times and will continue to say, many of the cheerleader pumper types of people can't tolerate opinions that differ from their own, especially if they're not 100% Rosy Alice n Wonderland pro LSU.

Mett looked timid or downright scared at times last year. Lots of people counting their Cameron chickens pretty early. wasn't Crowton supposed to be some Offensive wizard when he was hired?

When was the last time Cam produced for a team? In the 90's? Certainly not in Miami or Baltimore. This game evolves. Offenses evolve. we'll see pretty early If CC has as well.
