Actually you can now look at the small snippet of his tenure as LSU's HC and you can start to make some powerful assessments. He has fired the OC he hired just one year ago amongst friction between the two - that ISN'T a positive. He had the 15th ranked recruiting class in his first full year or recruiting with some major blunders involved, told Goodrich on a Sunday night he didn't have a spot for him and lookie, lookie, lookie we have 2 spots open after signing day. He wasn't able to close PS a lifetime LSU fan with huge Louisiana ties amongst just two examples. Heck last years class was ranked higher when it had Miles hands all over it. That DEFINITELY isn't a positive. Now he has things you put in the positive column which are rally the troops after the Troy loss, keeping Aranda around and others.
What I am saying is you can start to make some clearer judgements regarding his tenure right now. Personally I would give the guy a C+, which in my mind isn't at "good" yet.

Wow. I think you're being generous with the C+ grade.
In my opinion, there is only one thing to give o credit for. And that's that the team didn't completely collapse after the Troy loss. Other than that, I wouldn't give him anything better than a D.

If so then I guess Miles record isn't as good as you claim since we should take away ALL the wins he had over teams with at least 6 losses....
