It is not a scam.
Sankey is getting "confidence" from the other schools to keep going after LSU. Kind of like a guy getting confidence to fight another person from his buddies and his "fake" confidence causes his butt to get beat.

The SEC filed in federal court claiming its First Amendment Rights were being threatened by Kiffin, Rousse, Verge and now they are adding the AG and the BOS. What about the First Amendment Rights of all of those people? In the words of Buzz Lightyear from "Toy Story," Sankey is a "sad, strange little man" to run to federal court crying that someone said something and hurt his feelings. He accuses Lane Kiffen of immature, rogue behavior, but he would see the very image of rogue immaturity were he to look in the mirror.
