I was really impressed with Trent Richardson's ESPN heisman interview and how he carried himself speaking highly of the other candidates and his fanbase. TM7 is just as much the playmaker we all know he is but, Richardson is pure class and I think he deserves it. Richardson can have the heisman, TM7 can have the national championship. Geaux tigers.

Have you ever heard RG3 interview? Take him away from BU and they don't even make a bowl game. Can you say the same thing about Trent? RG3 will take home the award and he's very deserving. I'm glad to see the winner come from a team that isn't considered a media darling.

TM7 has had just as much class and compliments as Trent Richardonson. I'm not sure how this really separates the two from one another.

Yes, it is very difficult to dislike Trent... Not too many athletes can still be humble while being so BEASTLY on the field. Regardless, I still hope we skull frick him come January 9th.

Seriously. Him and Russell Wilson from Wisconsin may be the 2 best interviews I've ever heard in college football.

I have mad respect for Trent Richardson. Unlucky that he got his gf pregnant at 16 and then again at 18. pushed himself to be the best not just for himself but for his girls and family. Has gone through college with 2 kids and has done everything The right way to give them a better life. He'll of a MAN.

My wife (an aggie) said as awesome as TM7 is that he shouldn't be up for the Heisman due to his off the field issues. Said that is not the type of role model LSU should be putting out there.

Wow! We have eroded as a society when we praise someone for impregnating his girlfriend (not wife) at age 16 and a second time at age 18. I am not being a hater as I think he is a great talent and seems to be a pleasant young man, but I think to say that he he is a "hell of a man" might be stretching things a bit.

So based on just an interview you determined
1. Richardson is a much classier person than Mathieu
2. Richardson deserves the heisman over Mathieu

Do you make your hires this way? based on pure interview skills and not the resume?

Do you also make spot judgments, based on peripheral stuff, on folks even when you do know their background.

Thing is, it would not have been a known issue has some idiot within the program not leaked out the reasons.

TM7 seems to have matured a lot recently. He's seemed very classy lately. Proud he is a tiger. TR is a class act as well. Not sure how anyone could hate the kid.
