He really does have a terrific arm, even when he sucked his freshman year he made some great throws against Auburn

Don't forget Troy. We rode that kids arm for 28 points in the last 1/3 of the game.

That train left the station a few years ago, and thankfully I didn't jump on.

Yeah, because having the 107th ranked passing game is something to be thankful for

At this point, all JJ jock sniffers need to man up and eat crow. After what, 16 starts, dude shouldnt be that bad, period. (esp against that D)

FWIW, i had high hopes for the guy coming in to this year, but this weekend was definitely an eye opener.

Awful could be an understatment for a team that's supposed to compete for national titles.

Oh, and TigerFan55555, whats with the ice skating chick doing that bad-arse split? first, she's like what, 16 right? second, where can i get one?

the rumbles for Lee remind me of Saban's first year when JP Wilson was sucking it up. the fan base was so upset with Saban they were calling for McElroy. Saban never caved.
The same reason Saban didnt is the same reason Les isnt going with Lee. If Lee comes in and sucks it up (which could happen) now Les has two QBs that have zero confidence and no way to finish the season. As we all are, he is hoping the light comes on soon or he gets nicked up enough force him to use Lee.

Since we're apparently back to football.....

let me ask this:

1) Did Saban suffer one of the worst offenses in the NCAAs the previous year due to the QB and risk doing it again a second consecutive year?

2) Did the QB already have 16 starts under his belt and STILL manage to come out laying eggs left and right?

2) Was Saban's job on the line?

I agree with your reasoning in any normal year... But Les' job wont survive another offensive season like last year and he knows it (unless he throws Crowton under the bus and promotes Billy Gonzales)

Looking at the schedule, this is the best time to test the water with Lee.

Not exactly sure, but ULM and Miss State were two that comes to mind

I agree with this, but its too early in the season. Everyone would forget by years end and Miles would be fired too. We need BG, FW to keep our recruits.

Looking at the schedule, this is the best time to test the water with Lee.

What happens if Lee bombs, what do you do with two QBs with zero confidence. how do you expect to keep the team together?

Sign me up... Im so sick of seeing frantic scrambling, scary pass accuracy, and that option play that just needs to be ripped from the playbook completely.

JLee atleast deserves a shot. I can't imagine quarterback play worse that what we've got. If our defense wasn't playing as hot as it is now lord only knows what we would have looked like.

Is there room for one more bandwagoner?
This is how I reacted to what I like to refer to simply as "The Pass" against Vandy....
