what makes you the captain? you were probably bashing him two years ago. i have stuck by him from the beginning. It isn't so much that i thought lee was good, but that i knew how terrible jefferson will always be.
post history is your friend.

I think the coaches were listening to the fans too much when they decided to start JJ against GT and make him the automatic starter going into 2009.
But of course you changed your mind after you watched the Bama and La Tech games last season, and if you didn't then you are blind.

fish just let it go dude..
running JL down for games played last yr and year before isnt gonna make JJ's last night effort look any better.

JL played no worse at Bama last season than JJ did, and the offense actually did better when he was in.
The LT game was the LT game. Lee carried a lot of baggage into that game.
JJ had his good games, like against Georgia & Auburn & UNC, where he was better than JL in 2008. But then again, JL was a freshman who started the spring 3rd string, whereas JJ was a veteran sophomore who went through an entire spring at 1st string going into 2009. He should have been better than the 2008 version of JL.
We still don't know who the better QB is for sure, but Lee definitely deserves a shot to show he's improved from his freshman year when he was thrown into the fire unprepared and consistently directed and expected to make big plays to try to win games with his arm (b/c the defense was so damn horrible) on a regular basis.

Don't y'all think the coaches know what kind of QB talent is on the team and who gives them the best chance to win.
No I am not convinced, but thanks for your concern.

the team had nothing to play for in the La Tech game. A chance of winning the bama game was robbed from them. Yall dont think that affected the whole team, hearing about getting screwed all week? Not to mention losing the starting running back.

well, heck for all the names I've been called in defending JLee, I must be the Commander in Chief

ummmmm, no.

People saw what they wanted to see out of that game.
If I remember correctly JJ was a 100 percent passing until late in the first half or early in the second quarter. Hence, compared to JL's 16 interceptions with a new NCAA record 7 pick sixes in only 8 starts, it was a refreshing change. It also enabled us to win a game for a change.

97 yards on 4.5 drives, 1 TD
152 yards on 6.5 drives, 1 TD
Not much of a difference really. I suppose you can say that 23 yards per drive is better than 22 yards per drive, but that's only because J Lee had to end the game on desperation 3-and-outs when he was basically throwing Hail Mary's. They both scored 1 TD, and Lee did it on fewer possessions. Also, Lee had drives stall on a false start penalty and a stupid run up the middle on 3rd and short, neither of which were his fault, whereas JJ was given more opportunities to try to throw for first downs in those situations. I'm on board. That performance last night was atrocious and I don't think we cross midfield against Bama with that kid at quarterback. May do him some good to sit and watch someone else play. I thought JL looked bad as a freshman but a lot of time has passed since then and I don't think he could do worse than what I saw last night. Time to see if JL has improved and developed since JJ hasn't.
