As a Tech grad and lifelong LSU fan, that game really couldn’t have been better

Tech made it a game for a while and put up respectable numbers, while LSU continues undefeated.
Can’t wait to see if Tech can beat Moo State later this season.

Tech gave LSU all they can handle. I think they’re way better than people think though LSU played poorly also.

Yeah North Texas is strong, but Tech isn’t the same team they were last year either. If they treat that game as seriously as they did this week, they can win it.

And it was just a one-point game last year. Both teams pretty much returned. Should be fun.

Want to give you guys credit for your O line. They did an outstanding job against a great D line! Only gave up 1 sack ?

Yes, IMO, Tech really pushed us last night. Glad for them, it’s a good program and deserves lots of national respect. Gladder for LSU, that we still left with that W, against a very motivated Tech team.

No they don’t. They are a scrub program. Let’s face it, being a 2nd tier program is nothing to be proud about.

They’ve been consistently an above average G5 team for a while now.
It doesn’t hurt LSU to admit tech is a good program. Not sure why people have to be so insecure about it.
I went to tech and love the bulldogs. I’ll be in Denton cheering them on Saturday.

Y’all already sort of had my respect going in, the game certainly confirmed it. Good team. Good coaching. Loyal fans. Nice traditional look with the uniforms, band etc.
Just judging by the way the team played and the fan support i would’ve thought we were playing a P5 team. I already pulled for y’all in the G5 world but Y’all are definitely my favorite G5 team now.
Oh and Ruston is a very nice community.

I was really proud of the way they fought. It’s a good building step for the rest of the year. Glad it’s over and I can go back to my purple and gold uniform on saturdays.

Only the dumbass sidewalk fans can’t admit it. There’s nothing wrong with being happy for a smaller program in state.

I said the same thing to my gf last night. Tech made it a game when no one thought they would, and then LSU distanced themselves in the last minutes of the game so it didn't hurt LSU either.
