So they played an awful game...and won by 18. We played a terrible Vandy team and won by 14.

but we didn't need the refs to keep it close and take the wind out of Vandy's sails. The same cannot be said for Iowa against Indiana.

"Allwez"? I never noticed that man. I'll try to spot it next time but if it starts to annoy me I'm gonna be pissed! hahaha

Message boards aren't always synonymous with common sense, but this one is a hell of a lot better than most. You're lucky fellas!

You throw 5 picks in the SEC you will get torched. No matter who you play.

Colin knows the BIG TEN cant hold SEC's jock as far as speed and defense goes. You get beat the up in SEC play weekly. You come to play with the big boys you have to have depth, depth and more depth. With that, you have to have speed to back up speed. If someone gets hurt, you WILL get exposed in the SEC.

If they played LSU, they would run back to Kirk and say "COACH ALL I SEE IS PURPLE BLURS ON THE FIELD, THEY AINT THAT FAST AT OHIO ST ARE THEY?"

MSU and UGA are hardly awful teams

MSU is 4-5 with best win being KENTUCKY.

GA is 4-4 and does not play but 8 on defense, or at least that is the way it seems. AWFUL.

You think Iowa's QB could have thrown 4 picks against MSU, UGA or Auburn and Iowa still won the game?

Are you arguing the Indiana is a smidge worse than MSU, UGA or AU. I will give you that one. This has nothing to do with that though.

Well shite, you got me. There is no logical comeback. Except possibly aliens stole Iowas favorite football, and brainwashed the refs to help the Hawkeyes out....you know, cause Aliens have a guilt complex.

It is as rational as the 'refs stole it"

so how many other ESPN guys lurk and use this site for information?

great, how did i see this post coming? with 160,000 posts, if you throw enough shite on the wall, something's bound to stick

and to answer the OP's question...i watched the iowa-penn state game and i must say after that game, i thought iowa was a legit top 5 team...but unfortunately for them, they've only played that strong in ONE game...wayyyyy too inconsistent to be considered a true contender...they will be exposed eventually but even if undefeated i don't see them making the championship game

See, this is the only board in the country that knows about 3rd down conversions and Alien insecurities. How can you beat that?

I will confess, I like Florida's board too. But I also like Rutgers board and chicks who slight imperfections, so what the hell do i know?

dude, indiana has been a cellar dweller in the Big 12 for years...they would enter the sec and immediately become the 12th worst team...easily

for comparison, let's pretend florida was losing for 80% of the game and needed a 28 point 4th quarter to beat vanderbilt

I don't think Iowa would be undefeated with LSU's schedule, but think they would maybe have the same record as LSU at this point with the one loss coming against Florida. But they would probably lose at Alabama as well, but I think it would be a good game and not a blowout.

What would LSU's record be right now with Iowa's schedule?

We think TCU and Boise would crush Iowa. They have a lot more speed and athleticism on the offensive side of the ball than Iowa.

we would be 7-1 with your schedule...we weren't playing very well when yall beat penn st...however, yall would have at least 3 to 4 losses with our schedule by season's end

Iowa has 2005 Bama syndrome

they are playing above their heads and everyone goddamn knows it...and they know

everyone also knows, that just like 2005 bama, it's only a matter of time before it catches up to them, they arent beating OSU, shite they might not beat Northwestern or Minnesota

watching that team last week, i couldnt help but think "my god this team is garbage"

they are closer to their preseason ranking by far

Just like you said when Arizona got whipped by Iowa. Funny how Colin says that Iowa scheduled nobody in OOC but then in the next sentence says Arizona is the most underrated team in the nation and how they have a chance of winning the Pac 10.

Have you not seen the speed that LSU has. Maybe Florida has more, but its a toss up. No way Iowa could compare.

One thing about both teams, TCU, Boise. They shouldnt be considered for BCS in my opinion. If you had one or two legitimate big games a year, that is so much easier to prepare for than back after back after back. Its like they get 3 bowl games a year, because the other teams they play is basically practice. This is why SEC has such a weak ooc schedule.

I can't even see the speed because they are so fast. I'm sure this is the same speed that we saw from LSU at the Cap One bowl and Florida the two times we played them in the Outback Bowl.
