By the way I never said Miles was GREAT...he has by no means achieved greatness or hall of fame status! But he should have achieved acceptance and if you so called fans can still not accept the winningest coach in LSU history...you need to find another team, because you really have unrealistic expectations!

I will play devil's advocate here. Would you still feel the same about Les if WV and Mizz. had won the last week of the Season?

Yes i would...i thought the team needed more discipline...but i really did not think we had a shot at getting in and i still thought Miles did a great Job going 11-2 again and getting us in the SECC...and winning! I know most delusional Tiger fans think that you can win a NC every year, but i'm realistic and know that what happened this year is rare!!

I know there were several of my friends all big LSU fans hoping after the Arkansas game that Miles would take the Michigan job..At that time I wasn't disagreeing with them.

I agree, he did a great job, but in my opinion a great job does not a great coach makes........
unless it is a great job over " a period of years"...hall of fame or not.
Too many uncontrallable factors for HOF attainment.
Many great coaches never reach HOF.

Like I said I would not put Miles in the HOF today...but he is definitely in the LSU hall...and I think he probably will be the most successful coach to ever stand the sideline of Tiger stadium when it's all said and done. I could be wrong, but it seems that he knows a little something about what he is doing.

Sold on Miles you must be kidding. When he can win three straight NC games then I will admit I MIGHT have been wrong. But if LSU does win three in a row I am sure it will be just luck.

Seriously. Anyone that has a big problem with Les Miles needs to seek professional help.

Like I said before I love Miles the man but I want to see if he can curve some of those mistakes during a game.

it's funny that as an OSU fan, I can say the same thing about Tressel when he came in. He won a NC early, and everyone was like "He's doing this with Cooper's players" etc. I was so pissed about it, but after 7 years with Tressel and 5 top 5 finishes in 6 years, noone is complaining now, except he hasn't beaten an SEC team yet (we should schedule ole miss one year at the shoe to get the monkey off)
