After watching him on Best Damn... i like him even more now. Very well spoken, and can joke, and carry a laugh with the guys. He even kind of threw that jab (jokingly) @ Rodney Peete and that USC bunch out my way.

a classy dude, that's got balls and aint afraid to whip em' out every now and then.

Let's see... 36 wins, 6 loses... SEC Championship... National Championship... Integrity...

Nah, not sold yet. There's got to be something more he can do. Still holding out.

Dammit..i meant to watch that..but then had things to do. Very well spoken huh? Interesting..you would think he was an illiterate by listening to some of our ranters. Ive watched all of his press conferences on the Geaux Zone and the guy is incredibly personable and funny as hell. He's just a nice guy. Ya, he struggles to get the words out some times..being extra deliberate, but he's really engaging. He is ten time more fun to watch than the irascible Saban ever was..loads more.

I want to see what he can do next year in recruiting. He handled the last min. of the Auburn game this year about as bad as it could have been handled, yet he pulled it out. There is nothing to complain about if he can win 10+ games a season along with championships.

Tubby's pooch kick on the final possession of the Auburn game was dumber than ANY move made by either Saban or Miles during their tenures at LSU.

And yet, people were excited at the thought of Tubby coming here if Miles left. Players are never perfect. Neither are coaches.

2 things...

1-Les is winning with the former coach's players

2-Brady taking over the team on probation is still a factor that must be considered.

LOL!!!

I knew Les was all real when we opened a can on Miami in the Peach bowl.

Not sold, but I'm on board with him.

I will be when I see better time management and the drastic reduction of penalties "throughout" a season. I like him, he has done a good job and I support him, but I am not yet ready to put a halo on him.

Man if you guys are not on board with a coach who has won 10 games or more in each of his three seasons taken us to 2 seccg, 1 secc and 1 nc...you seriously need to stop watching football!!! And all this dumb arse talk about winning with his own recruits!!!UH He did!!! Most of the big plays that came in the NC were his recruits i.e. 2 TD Dickson, Coleman, Ricky, Lafell...get over fricking SABAN...it's over, you guys who can't get over Saban...you stalk your EX's don't you? Love the one your with damn it!!!

It does not have a F-ing thing to do with Saban.
He is an above average coach in my mind.
***above average does not mean great.
He may very well end up that way, he is not there yet.
GREATNESS is achieved over a period of time.

I am sold on Les the man for his character. However I still will hold out one more year for the Coach to see if he can recruit and coach his own.

I feel that a lot of LSU fans may be considering this wrong IMO. He is a very good coach, but there is one thing I haven't seen from him all that often that I'd like to see from him. A great coach finds a way to win all the games he's supposed to, and then like 30-50% of the games where he doesn't have the best talent on the field. If you have the best talent, pull a Texas and win 10 games a year, and when you get lucky enough to pull a stud like VY or a team like 01 Miami roll with it and win.

I don't really know a lot about LSU, and am anxious to hear. How many games has Les won when you guys looked on the field and didn't know for a fact that LSU had more talent?

Ok, so what has Saban done to achive greatness? a 10-1 season and a NC...not seeing his greatness! The point is BAMA fans and LSU fans bring up Miles playing with Saban recruits all the time as justification for not accepting him...why? He has done more with what Saban had in less time.
