It's second freaking base. Lol. I can see third or SS. But second? Cmon man. U can't sub out a better hitter and ur best hitter with risp for a second baseman.

You're right. Defense at 2B doesn't matter at all. 1B doesn't matter either.
I can sub him out if he gets on base more. It's justified by that. We have plenty of guys who can knock him in.

Ask any manager if they would sub a 2nd baseman for fielding over a hitter. All would say hell no.

You act like there is a huge disparity with their offense. But there definitely is with defense at 2B. I'm also okay with trying Byrd there again.
