I am. He needs a new quarterback, but every other aspect of the program is top notch. I just don't see anyone else being that much better.
FIFY, and I agree with the fixed version completely

Yes, I am glad Les is staying.
While I realize that we may be able to do better than Les, I also realize that we may do much worse.
Les is a really good man. He runs a clean program, and he has some kind of magical charm on his players, as they all LOVE the man and would jump into the abyss if he told them to. He has a better winning percentage than any other coach in LSU's history, and believes in his players, and the players feed off of that.
Sure, he's a little crazy at times, and isn't the best person to hand a mic to, but at the end of the day, he wins football games and just completed his third double digit win season which is more than any coach to coach here, so how can you possibly not respect and love that if you're an LSU fan? LSU isn't a doormat, but a place of destination for a guy like Les, and those who question why he would stay when his dream job was Michigan, did you ever stop to think that perhaps it's because a better dream job came along and he's the head coach of that program?
Perhaps a bigger question would be "Why in the hell would he ever leave?" He's got a program that's loaded, and looks to remain loaded. He is a four million dollar a year coach, and coaches in one of the premiere schools in the nation and in the premiere conference in the nation. He lives in a climate that is a point of destination for those who are looking to retire down the line, not an egress point such as is Ann Arbor. His kids are settled and in school here, and he's put in his roots here. He knows that he will probably always be successful here at LSU, and he knows that given the wealth of talent and facilities, as well as every kid in this state growing up dreaming of playing in Tiger Stadium. Why would you trade all of that in to become a coach of a team like Michigan who is expecting instantanious success and wants it yesterday, is looking for a miracle worker, and won't take no for an answer. A team that needs talent in a real bad way, but doesn't concern themselves with that. All they want is wins now, and will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat if you don't give it to them, and no matter who that is, yes, even Les Miles. Yes, I know Les went to school there and idolized Bo and all, but who trades in all that Les Miles has right now, a job that most coaches dream about getting, only to take over a mountain of a challenge as is rebuilding Michigan, especially at this time in his life? What's he got to prove?

Losses to Arky, Ky in 2007 with that team seems to be a good start

Hell no, I would of driven him to Mich. Have you guys forgoten all his brain farts. We deserve much better. Our offense sucks, and somebody needs to answer for that. The only reason we won a NC in 07 is that God wanted us to win. What else could it be. We lost to Kentucky and then knowing our only chance was to beat Ark. at home we choked. Sure we could do worse, but we should be able to lure some of the best coaches in the country. Get ready to have JJ start the Oregon game, and then the shite will start all over again. I hope I am wrong.

Yes, Miles is a good coach and we have a great team ready to go for next year.
I watched Auburn and Oregon last night and thought cheaters, AU pays players and Nike ownes Oregon. At LSU we might not be perfect but Miles runs a good program.
