That's why you DONT hire a coach with a terrible head coach resume. That was highlighted by LSU losing seven of the state's top ten recruits this past season after O was named head coach. I have serious concerns over our years of top ten recruiting taking a nose dive after we get killed with the Troy defeat.

Why are you stuck on this having to be an excuse? Kinda weird. It is a simple fact to answer the OP's question asking if LSU is one of the youngest teams in the nation. You okay?

The graphic below was shown during the Ole Miss game. LSU had 4 true freshmen starters in the 1st game of the season - the most in the country. Since then 4 other true freshmen have started. That's 8 TF starters.

Tell the board of all the other teams that have had that many freshmen start. I won't patiently await your answer because you won't have one because no one has started more TF than LSU.
