They would need absolute chaos to get in.
1-loss Georgia is in over them. 1-loss Michigan or Ohio State is in over them.
Even if ND beats USC, you’re still looking at potential a potential 2-loss PAC-12 champ.

My brain says cheer for USC to beat Notre Dame in a close one, and then USC to get blown out in the Pac12 title game. This way both ND and USC would get humbled. We would likely drop to 6th for one week until we beat Georgia and leap into the final 4.
That said, I have a gut feeling once they kick off I’m going to irrationally want USC to get their teeth kicked in.
