It gets very tough with UT and OU jointing the SEC, the rise of NIL and overpaying for a coach that isn’t really emphasizing recruiting

Bad coaching and bad recruiting
Unwilling/unable to compete on the NIL stage while our rivals are handing out money just for visiting campus
Be thankful for O and 2019 because the good days for LSU football are over
