You're such a dick. His fricking finger is broken and required surgery.

You mean the guy that cared so much about LSU that he smoked his way off the team? I love the guy, but don't act like he's some selfless player that loved LSU more than anything.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that plenty of football players play with a broken finger. Tape it up and hit somebody

Fix your finger when you’re done with the season. It isn’t falling off

Exactly! I can understand star players foregoing their SR season to move on to the NFL, but a least finish your JR season first. A large part of this team worked their arse off to turn the season around and finish strong enough for a New Years bowl game. If we are going to downplay the importance of the bowl game why not mail it in after the Bama loss when it was clear LSU would not make the playoffs. The risk of injury is there in every game of the season.

Well I wouldn’t quit playing because I had a broken finger so there’s that.

Did you go to catholic high by chance? I know they have a universal amount of pussies over there so maybe daddy let you sit out the jv game.

You're a genuine badass.

So what's the extent of Key's knee injury that kept him out of the last two games, doctor?

And, by all reports, Key did play with the broken finger, then had surgery after the season. Maybe there was a complication, or the damage was more extensive than they thought. Honestly, I thought you would just splint a broken finger, so maybe it's a compound fracture with possible soft tissue damage.

Regardless, it's all just speculation and y'all are assholes for talking shite about guys when you don't even know the facts of the situation.

Financially this is the correct decision. Characteristically, this could be telling. This could explain why he came in fat. Play half the season out of shape and play the second half taking what they give you. To each their own is what I say. Good luck to him.

Amen! People are idiots, but this is the rant. I’ll be interested to see what comes out about this past year as we get closer to the draft. You know some light will be shed on Arden’s situation last spring. NFL teams are going to want to know and someone will leak it to the media.

I stay away from bashing players, but players like Key are the reason why I try not to get too bent out of shape during the recruiting and signing periods. No amount of stars will give you the heart it takes to dominate SEC football week in and week out.

No im saying they come to LSU to win a national championship and when that out is out of reach then I don't blame him for sitting out a meaningless bowl game. Considering the average NFL career is only 3.5 years your bold claim is stupid.
