It's his fault. He's the one that decided to take the spring off and then have shoulder surgery so damn late. Indeed, he's a mere shell of the player he was last year. Then couple that with the fact the new players playing this year on defense aren't close to being as good as the players they replaced, and it's easy to see why the defense has sucked so damn bad this year, and it's all coach O's fault. If he were a better coach his predecessor would have left him better players. Indeed, everything is O's fault because he is a bad coach.

Nah, he'll be first round. They base on potential. The only thing that could knock him down would be an arrest.

He's still a 1st round pick right now. It will come down to his health and how he performs at the combine. They'll take into consideration not being in shape due to recovery from an offseason surgery. Lack of effort certainly didn't affect Clowney, and hasn't affected several other players who wanted to "protect" themselves.
The main issue is making sure that by the time the combine comes around, they know his health and his potential is still where it was last year.

Do you know the first thing about NFL rookie contracts? Show me one, just one, clip of Key this year that would warrant big guaranteed money. That and a suspicious off season followed by shoulder surgery means he has ground to make up.
