Lot's of pressure on these elite athletes (and even not so elite) - internal and external. I'll trust our FB Staff to provide the best support and ask the fans to do the same.

I wish the best for this super talented kid. And I hope he will continue to be the major contributor to LSU Football he has been and is expected to be. I'm glad he chose to spend his college ball with us and hope for a bright future for him.

No drugs didn't pop into my head first, wanna know why? Bc he's a good kid who hasn't had drug issues while at LSU or anytime in his life, that I know of...so why would I first assume drugs? That's just you who does that, bruh.

of course, but a national audience doesn't care about things that happen to me.

By contrast, Arden Key is a big name in college football and will likely be a very high NFL draft pick. He lives in a fishbowl, to some degree. It comes with the territory of being a premier player at a big football school. Not fun for him, but it's the way it is.

It is most probably family related and the bottom line is that he won't be at LSU for spring practice and game. He will probably come back during the summer to prepare for the season. I know I am just speculating, but it's a good guess.

Now lets leave the kid alone. Our prayers are with you Arden.

Correct, and failure to be transparent causes a lingering concern that it is a serious physical, emotional or mental issue. It may not be our business, but the NFL will ask the question, many times.

Yep, not bashing the previous admin but I believe we have the people in place to handle whatever it is in a mutually beneficial way.

Seriously though, maybe he's just got mono and needs a few weeks away from conditioning, and the staff doesn't want him it to spread to the rest of the team on accident.

Sounds unlikely because if he was missing time due to an illness, seems as if they would come out and say he was going to miss a few weeks recovering from an illness to avoid everyone speculating that it may be drugs/baby momma drama/family issues/etc

Yes, because the guy with a history of alcohol addiction and a restraining order is definitely going to do better than Miles...

Damn, I wish I could've quit going to work and school, all while getting getting a full ride plus the perks of being on the football team. Must be nice!
