It was easy for Staley to be "classy" after the game, because her team won, plus she knew her player had delivered the worst blow.
It's always easier for the victor to fake being gracious. But we know Staley -- she was probably gloating and saying "we whipped their asses" all the way back to Columbia.
The writer of this slam piece obviously doesn't know the full background of Mulkey/Griner. Mulkey defended her often at Baylor amid the recurring controversies -- like when Griner's punch broke the Texas Tech girl's nose, or when opposing players accused her of being a guy.
Kim wanted Griner to keep her sexuality a private matter -- understandable at a Baptist school like Baylor -- and that's what kinda led to the eventual rift in their relationship.

I am actually glad this happened. We always do the best when it's us vs the world. As if we needed any more bulletin board material.

It this an opinion piece or is it supposed to be news, because it reads like an opinion piece. I can't read modern "journalism" because instead of just reporting news, everyone has to put their opinion in their articles. It's one thing to write from your perspective and have people assume what your opinion is while staying at least partially neutral, it's another to be completely opinionated.

At what point can Woodward start going after these bastards for defamation of character? Sounds like Dick Vitale wrote the article.

Funny you put in a meme of someone who is NOT funny at All, if Tracey Morgan was white you wouldn’t even know his name. He made more money SUING Wal-Mart than he every made in his whole stupid non-funny career.
