Ole Miss who buy a bunch of merch / tickets etc. for their #6 team before they go 8-4.

It is true that they are way overrated based upon last year, and the pathetically easy schedule they have again this year. You should look at their ooc games this year, it should be an embarrassment.

Last year they beat 2 teams with a winning record, LSU and A&M (7-6). Both in oxford, and beat us on the last second and beat a&M by 3. They were slaughtered by Ga and beaten by 2 TDs by Alabama.

They will probably lose only 2 with their schedule it is so pathetic.....LSU and GA.

Texas got handed the easiest SEC schedule

they are on par with OM and MIZZ, each playing 3 ranked teams. The only reason that TX has a harder schedule than OM and Mizz is that they play Michigan ooc, whereas OM and Mizz play no one with a pulse ooc.

We won't have any idea about LSU until we see what th3 defense can do. Last y3a4 it was unwatchable.

Is there a limit to how many Big 10 and SEC teams they will let into the playoffs?
Because outside of Florida State, none of the other teams stand much of a chance.

Utah will probably win 10 or 11 games and get in as Big XII champs. Cam Rising is back, and Whittingham's defense is always solid, so they might be a pain in the arse for somebody.

This format sets up really well for the #5 team to make the Semifinals. In this scenario, #5 Oregon does have to play an additional playoff game, but it would be a home game against Boise, a team they would've beaten in September (and if they had finished #5 and missed the Big 10 championship game, it would the same number of games regardless). They would then face the worst of the conference winners (in this case 12th ranked Utah) at a neutral site. They would then be going into the semis at a neutral site with a 2 game playoff win streak.
Been saying this ever since the format was announced; the 5 seed is going to win some titles.

You're going to have the best non-champion (going to be a top 4 team, it could be a great SEC team like UGA, or Big 10 like Ohio State, etc), getting a fun home game blowout in the first round. Then a neutral site game vs a team seeded higher, but probably still ranked below them.
They then get a shot at #1 (assuming no upsets) while likely considered 'on a roll'.

But how are they going to win the AP title?

Said nobody.

Meaningless poll.
