I think it'll be a 14 point game. As much as people are jumping off the cliffs on this board, most of them have no idea how terrible UNC's offense/QB is for the last 3 years. TJ Yates is fricking god awful. I don't even like JJ that much and I'd take JJ all day, every day.

I understand UNC has some pretty good defensive players, but so does LSU. I think that will be the strength of the team this year. The offense will prove just good enough to win alot of ball games. We shall see.

As far as talent goes, LSU is pretty damn underrated. This all has to do with Miles. I think we're going to be undefeated going into the UF game and I actually like our chances. I think we get our swag back this year.

if Boise runs the table, we all know what's going to happen. If you want to admit it or not.

they will have a low power rating, based on meeting only two teams in the top 50.

With any luck, even if they go undefeated, they will be out of the top 2.

I am counting on the Oregon State Jaquiz brothers running all over them. That game will probably be nationally televised if Boise gets by Va Tech. Enjoy the blocking schemes that Oregon State uses. Those guys are DEDICATED to making their running game work.

This is setting up perfect for a bulletin board season! All these reports and polls should be in everyones locker, against the wall at every urinal. Over every entryway and exit!

Now get ready to go kick some arse and take your respect back!

if our LBs hold up I think this D has potential to be VERY good. We're as talented in the defensive back field as I can remember.

I think our offense will be better than some are expecting. We seem like we're trying to establish an identity on offense instead of trying to do a little bit of everything, but being good at nothing.

It also sounds cliche to say, but the chemistry and leadership on this team is better than its been the last 2 seasons. I don't know if it translates to much on the field, but it can't hurt.

The Huskers are gonna be very, very good on defense but they have to get a little improvement out of QB play from either Zac Lee or Cody Green

if LSU goes about 9-3 they'll finish like 14 or so. 8-4 and they'll finish about where they are now at 21. 10-2 and they'll be in the top 10

I picked them to go 9-3, but who knows really until you tee it off... anything can happen

It's everything. The talent has been there, it's been experience (and coaching) that has held us back. We've won despite Miles before...I think that we start playing LSU football this year. We'll be back in the top 10 buy the UF game.

frick that was rantarded.

I'm excited to see what our D will do with what should be some very legit pass rushers.

that beginning stretch is a long one before we go into Gainesville, our biggest obstacle is avoiding the injury bug until we get there IMO

fwiw, tOSU in 2002 and LSU in 2003 both started further down in the preseason polls, around 15-ish

Auburn in 2004 started at like 18

I think that what it all boils down to is that the UNC game right off the bat will tell us at least a little bit about this team

I look for a 20-13 Tigers type of score

if we lose and the offense doesn't look good, then I'd be hesitant about State and WVU

if not, I too think we will be 5-0 heading into Gainesville.

No more sprinting straight upfield, 10 yards past the QB?
