Anyone remember Marvin Wilson?

The defensive lineman who picked FSU over LSU because of the honey fried chicken? Yeah, he went undrafted but our gumbo with rice guy Shelvin went 4th round. Hate to see it.

Really wanted him out of high school. Was a good player. If he would have chosen a different school with more talent around him, he might have developed. Got lost by going to FSU

Did he have injury issues? I remember looking at some of his stats and thought he was pretty productive for a DT.

The level of dysfunction LSU was at in 2020, FSU has been at that level for 4-5 years now

I remember Cam Akers left late in the game to go to FSU too. It was too late to get Etienne then. But we did alright with Helaire.

I think that cycle for those RBs worked out for everyone. Can Akers played for a bad college team but he has done well for the Rams as a relatively high pick.

And Marvin Wilson contributed to a lot of it. He went from a respected and very likable person to a locker room cancer in about 16 months.

What is scary is he was on the same high school team as Waddle I believe. Pretty good pair of high school players on same roster.
