not involving the TE
There might not have been many receptions by TEs, but there were several pass plays designed for them.

I'm so goddamned frustrated with this offense. Like, where's the Statue of Liberty play? Where's the flea flicker?? Has Cam never heard of the fumblerooski?

one drive started with a completion to Landry, another started with a sack.

listen. first game for cam. he wasn't going to change everything first game. started with the familiar. he will start making modifications as this offense starts to gel.

At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Seriously, I did notice.

another thing I noticed, met had to be under center for that call, and they were loading up for it.

If you had scouted for TCU, wouldn't your plan be to stop the run and make us beat you with the pass?

guess what? met and landry and obj were up to the task.

The battle going on between OBJ and Kevin White was epic. Two quality athletes going toe-to-toe.

That's called wearing down the defense and opening up the pass. I'd say that play achieved both goals.

Will this work against Bama, Georgia, and Florida?

You can't be that stupid! They started run, run, pass which got TCU to load the box at predictable times. Then they started throwing on first and second downs. After that they were able to call successfull run plays. Remember, we did end up with 200 yards rushing.

I'm sure we would like to get an 80 yard run every time we touch the ball, but there is a little thing called setting up your plays. Coach Cam proved his worth last night in every aspect of the offense. and if you can't see that then your blind.
