I don't even think a moron badge is fitting for that stupid statement.

You are a moron for saying that.....most everyone is supporting Lee, and agree that he has the makings of being a good QB....maybe a great one if he develops more confidence, better footwork, decision-making skills, etc.

There are those of us that believe Lee needs Hatch's age/maturity and obviously better option-running abilities to keep defenses off-balanced, especially when Lee gets rattled (as he has in almost every big game)......

I want the QB in the game who will win for LSU, and right now some of us see a need to both QB's....not a slap at Lee, just a reality due to his youth.

Hatch doesn't have the arm strength to get the ball down the field in the SEC. He's too one dimensional.
They're both too "one dimensional" otherwise, only one would be playing.

Which is fine, but I believe Powerman is addressing the morons who flat don't support Lee at all, and would rather we just forgot about him and moved on to another QB next year as soon as possible. They're idiots.

Hatch is definitely one dimensional. While he does lead the team efficiently he can run only. When was the last time he completed a pass over 10 yards down field? And as for happy feet, he tucks and runs if the ball is not out of his hands one half second after a three step drop

Hatch is just doing a Tim Tebow impersonation from 2006.

And he did it very well Saturday night. Like the announcers said, it has to be the smoothest two qb system I've seen and I usually hate two qb systems. If they can seamlessly keep rotating them I say go for it. Hatch just can't throw well enough to stay in every play. Lee needs to get 80-85% of the plays

There is no reason Hatch can't be the place holder this year and then let Lee be the stud everyone wants him to be next year.

Yes there is, b/c Lee is the better QB and Miles wants to win now

Personally, I think the SEC is about run-it-down-their throats football, not all passing game like the PAC-10.
This isn't 1988 anymore. How'd that work out for Arkansas the last three years? LSU doesn't have McFadden and Jones on the roster. Stupid post

I want a QB who can hand the ball off and make all the throws in the book. Lee can do that. Hatch cant. All of this thinking you need a QB running the ball to be successful crap is...well..just crap. All young QBs with great arms will throw some INTs...thinking they can get the ball to the receiver no matter what....but Ill take my chances with the gunslinger who can get the ball to any wr at any place on the field. With Hatch...the defense does not have to respect the deep ball...and can sell out on the run. That's what Auburn was doing.

I don't believe in trashing Lee, or for that matter, any player who wears the Purple & Gold and stays out of trouble....especially a RS freshman QB who's thrown into the fire in key games.....I support Lee and think he'll be much better as he matures...just think it's nuts that anyone would say he's ahead of Flynn last year insofar as his QB value.

Hatch ran something like 8 times for 49 yards when before he got knocked out of the Auburn game. Try again.

(And I'm a big Lee fan.)

Me too, but he's still doing relatively well. LSU's offense is not the problem.

Flynn's experience is definitely something you can't quantify but he made plenty of mistakes (see Kentucky, Alabama, etc.)and was a little overrated. I think this was due in part to some of the hate directed at Jamarcus by rantards who wanted him benched in favor of Flynn.

He also missed a wide open Tolliver down the sideline and the offense only scored 3 points at that point

the key part of that is the 'getting knocked out' part....that's why a qb running it all over the place is not all it's cracked up to be. Dixon for Oregon....and even Tebow for UF. The running QB is just overrated. We were not gonna win that Auburn game with a healthy Hatch getting most of the snaps and you know it. He just wasnt spreading the field and he certainly wasnt scaring them.

Ok..I tried again...

I think Flynn was very much underrated, and that this was due in part to some of the hate directed by rantards at anyone who dared to criticize their hero JaMarcus.
