Hey I did a search and came up nothing. BTW I guess now my post is Germans.

I don't find it as weird as why he wears that jacket no matter if it's 100 degrees on a Saturday in September.

He has a brother who's hearing impaired, thats why he clamps like that, it's a visual thing....same reason les articulates his words do clearly with his mouth/lips

He's practicing. In January, when he has his second National Championship ring, they won't clank together when he claps.
