try cottondale or northport hotels. may be further, but they would be nicer and maybe less expensive

I just canceled my reservation there for Bama weekend. The place has a terrible reservation, so I moved east to Bessemer. At least I can sleep without worrying about my truck or somebody kicking in the front door. Anybody want the room, it's $95. Every other fleabag in T-town is charging $250 or more per night. The whole town is a ripoff.
