I remember accidently slinging my Nokia brick phone across the room when JV busted that first big run..not a scratch on it.

I remember OU beating A&M 77-0. There was a story about running up the score and Stoops sorta implied the offense was so good they couldn’t be stopped, even as the coach.

It was on an ESPN segment that aired before OU played K State for their Big XII CG. Media was "comparing" them to St Louis at that time because they curb stomped aTm 77-0 and were blowing out every opponent except Bama that year.
Anyway, I remember it vaguely. I had no idea we were going to play them at that point.

What was the three 15 yard penalties against LSU all about?
It happened on one play. A 45 yard penalty against LSU.
No real explanation or replay was shown on live TV.
It gave our opponent some momentum.
Should have blown the complete doors off them.
