re: Anyone else excited about our future at QB?

I'm in favor of Lee becoming the "starter" for the next 4 years. The QB carousel has had it's advantages for us in recent years but I'm ready for some consistancy and more importantly, LEADERSHIP, from that position. Flynn was a great example of a leader and field general. General Jarrett has the potential to become the all time greatest thing in LSU QB history.

didnt impress the first half last week with the pick six, but the second half and this week...GREAT...Superfluous

I can make a pretty good case that Flynn was the best QB in CFB history.
I can also make a pretty good case that Joseph Stalin was a pretty good guy.
I'm not hating on Flynn at all. I disliked the fact that a lot of the MSB dudes dogged him last year. He was a decent college CFB, and he played very well in clutch situations.

I can not believe how calm he seems. In control and has a rifle for a arm. I agree, maybe a running qb Jefferson for change up

No, man, you are dogging him. If you call Flynn a "decent" CFB quarterback, then you're disrespecting the shite out of him. I mean, you're entitled to your own opinion and all (and a lot of other people happen to share it), but don't talk down to a guy and pretend that you're not doing it.

No I'm not. I appreciate what he did for LSU, and he led us to a national title. To claim that he is the best college CFB ever is crazy. A completion percentage under 60%, and only playing for one year is not going to cut it, sorry.
I was one of the people last year on here who defended him, whenever the Jamarcus-Keiland army from the MSB bashed him. I am in no way dogging the shite out of him.

Sorry, but I find it ghey to rip anything off from AR-Kansas.

I guess you don't understand the effectiveness of it?

I'm not talking about the offensive package not existing...I just refuse to refer to it as the "WildTiger".
That's gay.

it was more of a joke. if they called it the WildTiger in real life, then we'd have some serious sexual orientation issues on the coaching staff.

Exactly.

The only problem I see is that we have too many QBs with similar eligibility left -- hell, next year we'll have a junior, a sophomore and two freshmen, half of which probably see the field very often.
As for Flynn being the best CFB, I think that's entirely based off of the fact that to my knowledge he's averaged the highest ppg against top-ranked defenses (40 vs Miami FL '06 Orange Bowl, 48 vs Va Tech '07, 38 vs Ohio State '08 BCSCG). And while that stat is definitely impressive, amazing performances in three games out of fifteen (?) starts =/= best QB ever.

Lee looked like he struggled to throw it forty yards.
If I remember correctly, he did not have a "full set up and release" with the pressure. But, I agree, I was surprised that he did not lead the pass. It would have been 6!

where's Roaad? I'm sure he's excited about how Lee will provide a quality backup once JJ takes over in the next game or two...

Yeah I believe Roaad said that Lee was talentless
