Thought our team looked scrappy this weekend, against what was the probably the best pitching staff in america at ull. We battled and could have easily won both. The two shortstops for both teams are unreal.
Anybody with some real opinions? And please dont make this a pissin match over what ull call themselves. No one cares about that

Lsu is scary and young. Only 1 Sr on the infield and 1 in the OF. 1 Sr pitcher and she’s easily replaceable.

Nah

#26 Cummins for LSU had some quality AB's this weekend. Her last AB in Lafayette was incredible. Fouled off 5-6 pitches and works the count to full before driving it back up the middle.

Wouldn’t any opinion be a real opinion?

ULL on paper have arguably as good pitching duo as anyone in America with Kleist and Ellyson, both all Americans. Granted Ellyson has had a weaker schedule in past to feast on

UCLA, with Garcia gone is heavily reliant on Faraimo (who is a stud), their other pitcher is serviceable but not up to that level. Washington is the same with Plain but plain has struggled early on.

Alabama should have a great pitching staff but Fouts has struggled pretty badly so far.

ULL

USL

SLI

Doesn’t make any difference.

They are good in Softball.

LSU is good in softball.

It’s all good and LSU has maintained the same name since right before the Civil War. ??

I don’t think anybody cares about ULL and LSU made Kleist look very pedestrian yesterday

Very young team, the sophomore and freshman class are scary good. Next years incoming class I believe is the top ranked in the nation. Beth has set LSU and herself up great for a long and successful stretch.

Playing 30-35 sun belt games makes for good numbers.

I noticed in all ULL writeups they referred to LSU as Louisiana State.
I guess they refuse to acknowledge LSU until LSU acknowledges the Cajuns as Louisiana
It's laughable!

That atrocious schedule last season and pitching 2/3rds of those games was the reason Ellyson got the stats and made All-American. Her numbers against the best they faced last season, which wasn't exactly a murderer's row, were good but not great.

Sure, but Kleist put her numbers up against a PAC 12 schedule. That conference is usually pretty good at softball. No idea how much taking a whole year off will affect her over the course of this season.

Is that right?

Then LSU’s Kiddie Corps handled the All American.

SEC ans Sunbelt are non-intersecting-sets Sir Cajun!!
