Lance Zierlein is a guy I really respect. He has been in Houston sports radio for two decades, his dad is an NFL line coach, and he isn't overly rabid for any particular team, and generally just doesn't stir shite for no reason .
The summer before the 2022 season, he said some of the same things Pate is saying by implying all is not right/Kelly and some people at LSU were not on the same page. We proceeded to go out and win the SEC west.

Bo Davis was one of BK's first targets when he first became LSU's HC a few years back. He got turned down then.

Well, we were expecting to make big player moves on defense and all we got were coaches. He could be on to something. Offense will be good but not as lethal as last year and defense was as bad as it could get so it could be a wash.

And I’d say coaches are pretty damn important. Especially in the talent acquisition department.
Fact of the matter is, not a single person outside that building have any clue as to what’s going on inside that building.

If you ever played the telephone game you can easily understand how Woodward demanding offseason changes to the defensive staff for obvious reasons can easily evolve into "coaching moves made were dictated to Kelly" during what Josh Pate calls the "talking season".

That is EVERY program.
UGA is probably the program with everyone in sync right now. That comes with winning.
I would speculate the program that is winning but everyone is not in sync is Ohio State. Day is under a lot of pressure to win a national championship.
