Thread title says it all. I have directTV and live in Nola so I won’t be able to watch the game on espn+ legally. Even if I use a VPN, I still don’t think I could watch it because it’s a CST broadcast.

Found a stream for those in the blackout zone.

live stream of CST

Yeah, I can't use any of those, as I'm in the blacked out area and don't have cox.

You watched a CST broadcasted game in a blacked out area with a directTV subscription on ESPN+?

I think the Apple TV thing is the important part to get around that. I seem to remember people from last year saying that ESPN+ doesn't register that you're in the blackout zone if you play it through Apple TV and it will stream.

If you pull up the ESPN+ app on a platform (like your phone) where it can detect you're in the blackout zone, then Cox can enforce the blackout rules in its contract and it won't stream.

No I do not believe I’m in a blacked out area. I guess i missed an implied portion of the poster’s statement.
