Half our fan base committed suicide last night and in the later innings tonight.

You might be there alone by the time the season wraps up

No reason to book yet. Last year I drove up and got a hotel 20 mins from the park. Booked it a week before and rates were reasonable. I guess if you want to stay in downtown Omaha you should probably start looking

Similar. I booked after we beat WF. Right in old town Omaha. Could walk everywhere.

Haven’t booked any trips yet, but I did put $100 on LSU to win CWS AT +750.

So true. We will be there in force if we make it though. Tricky thing is picking the right days. Not everyone gets 10 days off that aren’t accounted for.

Way too early. I booked, used up 53,000 points. Was there for 12 days. After points ran out, got to know the hotel mgr. He gave me the room for $75/night.

The trick is how the brackets play out and the days you are there. Overall a great experience for adults and kids - tickets become more plentiful after opening weekend because local attendance drops off. Hotels are plentiful and many are walking distance. Also there is a lot of parking around the stadium that is available if you need to drive.

Stayed at Doubletree on Dodge St. last year. Easy walk to Old Market and the stadium. It was cheaper than other hotels and was the only place that allowed three-day cancelation. Everywhere else was about 30 days. Might consider Air BNB next time.
