Teams that can maintain some semblance of fitness will have a major advantage when the situation normalizes.

The Athletic had a piece about this actually LINK

ETA: It's behind a paywall

quote:

Moffitt and his staff gathered Saturday morning and talked. They reached out to strength coach peers throughout the country. Everybody is in the same boat. They compiled ideas and put together a manual for how to handle the coming weeks or months.

“As long as our worst day is better than everyone else’s, then we have a shot,” Moffitt said.

Each LSU player received a physical handout of what workouts they should be doing on their own. Plus, they received an email with a PDF version and links to video tutorials of how to do each workout. Much of the manual was already in place, but Moffitt and company recorded most of the videos Monday morning.

The manuals included five different versions, catering to five levels of equipment availability. The top level is essentially, “If you had total access to a training facility, this is what you’d do.” Then, it drops down level by level from maybe some free weights around the house to even picking up household items.

Hope and prayer. Players got to motivate themselves.

Everybody is at home and everybody, hopefully, is working out on their own.

We will have some guys that come back in incredible shape and some that come back way out of shape.

Unfortunately, some of it is outside of their control. Not everyone will have the accessibility to train like they should. Our opponents are in the same boat, though.

I'm just ready for things to move back towards a sense of normalcy, regardless.

Yes Cochran & Saban got together and worked out a plan for all schools starting with loyalty and trust.

The truth for each player will come to the surface when they get to report for fall practice. Shame on the guys that may have been a little lazy :-)

Since Cochran is now a Special Teams coach with Georgia, I highly doubt he will be helping/assisting Saban in any shape or form.

The players should be running the levees every day and doing pushups and calisthenics like crazy.
