Kevin Mawae is our only hope imo. Brad Davis is way out of his league. Worst Oline in the SEC and its all on him imo.

Personally I think he does. I believe Underwood is probably a lot more rational than many of our fans who are overreacting. Has anyone thought that maybe most of the current roster cannot be coached to perform better than they are right now? Like another poster said, this coaching staff together is yet to have its own class come in yet, and we are set to get a lot of talent this off-season (certainly in part because Underwood is committed here).

I am just saying you can not hold the entire team hostage for one 18 year old kid who has not officially signed. I hope he does but Sloan as a play caller has been a disaster. You got your head coach on the sidelines with a play sheet. There are gonna be changes and I bet he does not call plays next season.

I agree with you on that part, I absolutely disagree with many of Sloan’s play calls.

Until today, we had lost three games in a row twice this century. We are 4-8 against ranked teams the last three years. It’s a different world than just a year ago. Seasons are now judged as abject failures if you miss the playoffs. We not only missed the playoffs we were by all intent purposes eliminated with 3 games left.
Sure, we can turn it around and go 10 regular season wins next season but the reality is we have significantly regressed each of the last two seasons after a really good first season from Kelly.
Now, I went fishing today on a 78 deg November day and had a blast, so personally, I feel I have plenty of perspective. But Im not going to pump sunshine from a football perspective after an embarrassingly bad stretch of losses.

I’m not overreactive but when that happens “ all the time” ( losing 4 games in a season ) , coaches get fired around here. See Dinardo, Miles and O. Chicken just posted about how those 3 coaches that lost 3 games in a row got fired.
