Seriously, I remember seeing their stadium rather empty last year.

its just bullshite. LSU fans are so damn bandwagon its sickening. And thats just judging from the responses in this thread.
Sickening? LOL, WTF are you talking about? Fans everywhere have a difficult time staying passionate when their team is consistently shitty in whatever sport it is.
You can easily apply the word "bandwagon" to lots of sports teams fans. So what?
Trent's future, that's if Alleva gives a shite about basketball depends on whether or not a freshman named Morgan can score...Having to count on Turner & Stringer as our scorers has been totally ridiculous. Nice job Trent.

I was at work personally. Not reading 12 pages to see if it was already mentioned, but I'm going to imagine quite a few people were at work also.

For about 15 years during Dale Brown's nice run, lots more fans would have attended a workday game. LSU basketball has been too inconsistent for the last 18 years to build up a solid fan base that'll attend those kind of games.

According to this thread and several idiots that have posted in it, you should have dropped everything you had going on to go watch the team, if you were a true LSU fan. Apparently there were only 500 true LSU fans consuming oxygen at noon on Friday.

you would think the ky fans over 40 would be the ones with the sense to act right

Every time I see one of these thread about FANS, or LEAVING EARLY, etc, I can not help but to think that someone is very insecure, young, without responsibilities and need to pad themselves on the back with this type of post.
Each fan will and shall support LSU to their like and their ability. I have been a supporter since long before most of you were born, and yes, while I would like for LSU to win at everything in which they take part, there are some sports that I have no interest in attending.
That is my right and everyone else's to do so.
Where this self-righteous concept come from ?
Anyone who thinks that makes them a better fan, not only is full of crap, but please start buying tickets to "Basket weaving".
and believe it or, I am sure that there are hard core LSU fans that do not care about BBall.

they are out in full force at track meets, softball games, volleyball games etc.....
you know those teams have LSU across their chest too and those who judge others in this thread are at all those events....every single one of them

how'd this thread get to 12 pages? it's pretty simple. LSU fans don't care about basketball.

I think what most are trying to convey in this thread is that if LSU were good people would find a way to get out of work and other responsibilities to catch a ball game. Someone said its not worth it when LSU is probably going to lose. Others are replying to that saying its bandwagon.

Even when they're going on simultaneously.

the bandwagonness of the fan base is sickening for a fan base that claims the title "best fans in America"... Don't you have a schtick to go uphold on the OT where you play like a retard?

totally wrong,
some do, some don't,
but the reality is that
WINNING CURES ALL

Our basketball fans make this claim? Really?

just something you hear tossed around about LSU in general... I'm not calling anyone out. If they don't want to go, they don't want to go. But I think its good to go out and support the guys. Don't take your hatred of Trent out on them.
