Lol Brady still to this day isn’t considered to be super talented from an athletic standpoint. His greatness is in his mental gifts and his work habits have improved his athleticism. Although I disagree with your description of his college stats what Buckeye is doing is using revisionist analysis to judge Brady as a prospect.

Our game last year was close for a long time and the score got away late.
I must have watched a different LSU/Bama game last year than you did.
It was 16-0 at half time and 22-0 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. That game stopped being close with 1:15 left in the first half.

normal humans can disagree on things and keep it cordial.
and of course he is using the Tom Brady that is arguably the NFL GOAT qb and applying that to the Tom Brady that as a senior struggled to beat out sophomore Drew Henson.

You have no idea how much I agree with this.

his talent and stats.
if his talent was special he wouldn't have lasted to the 6th round
Bart Starr - 10th round
Johnny Unitas - 9th round
Roger Staubach - 17th round
Happens all the time. Players at almost all positions get overlooked a draft time because of their college team's scheme. MOST (not all) GM's and owners are functionally illiterate when it comes to football - they need stats to green-light a draft pick.

My goodness. Not sure what you're so defensive about.
Sounds like ole Jeaux needs to log off, get some much needed rest and hit it hard again tomorrow morning.

Geez.
1967
1955
1964
Obviously. What year is it again?
Point being is football has changed since then.

You’re right and I know what you mean but I look at it in terms of era and system and comparing him to the other QBs in that system. You can put Brady’s numbers up against any Michigan QB before him and even with the uncertainty of Henson taking his spot he pretty much has the best numbers of any Michigan QB up to that point. I also look at his efficiency over volume for that time as being really good. I do agree with you that as a prospect he did go about where he should’ve in the draft and Buckeye has no clue what he’s talking about. A lot of scouts thought he shouldn’t even be invited to the combine where he flamed out and had a terrible showing on top of his already known athletic deficiencies.

you clearly don't follow cfb
You clearly put too much faith in stats. I've watched Burrow play. He's going to shine this fall.

you do realize that you can look this shite up before posting ignorant shite
It's never stopped you before. You've posted endless comparisons of different Les offenses as if any of it was relevant.

I mean I get he's a fan of Burrow, not a problem with that at all.
Why would anyone have a problem with having Joe Burrow as the QB for LSU?
The rest of what he posts has no bearing on Joe Burrow. It's weird.
But whatever. He's not exactly disrespectful, he just posts stuff that has no bearing on LSU.

Oh yea that’s another problem Buckeye has, he’s totally clueless when it comes to the evolution of offensive football.

Michigan was running an antiquated passing scheme - Mike DeFord at OC.
Henson's first 4 years in the NFL - 98 yards passing - 1 TD
Brady's first 4 in the NFL 10,227 yards passing - 69 TDs - 2 (two) Super Bowl wins

Brady's talent was so noticeable that no one that gets paid to scout NFL players had him going before the 3rd round
Yeah. If I remember correctly it was his shite coach who continously fricked him over. It had nothing to do with his talent.

Ben logic :
Lloyd Carr- national championship winning coach, 5 time Big-10 champ, national coach of the year and 75.3% winning percentage = shite coach
Ed Orgeron- not a single title of any kind, presided over the worst tenure in Ole Miss history and 56.7% winning percentage = Elite coach
Lloyd Carr- national championship winning coach, 5 time Big-10 champ, national coach of the year and 75.3% winning percentage = shite coach

This has nothing to do with how many NCs Carr has. It's how he handled Brady.
