I'll give you an honest opinion from an outsider that really does love LSU (and I know you don't give a frick). You've lost the physical edge a bit recently but I think O is bringing that back. Our game last year was close for a long time and the score got away late. I laughed at O too (just b/c that's what fans do) but he has held the program together when it could have fallen apart.
Gotta get back recruiting that d-linemen that kicked our asses not long ago.
I'm worried about Ala's D being really physical this year, how many players/coaches can you lose in 2 years? gheesh. It's showing.
Game this year will be great, can't wait!!

You see, when I say that o's never coached a team to a better conference finish than third, you'd call that being negative. But it's actually a fact and reality.

Rodger sees buckeye outright say the scheme and coaching kept Burrow from producing and says nothing.
In this same thread yesterday Roger held steady that the reason LSU's offensive production drastically improved from 2012 to 2013 was strictly player experience. It's the main reason he expects the 2019 offense to break records and drastically improve.
Cameron's first year as OC with a new and different offensive system in place wasn't responsible for LSU's offense going from 78th to 32nd in just 1 year. The offensive players one year later just suddenly started exploding with production.
He started coming around to the offensive coaching and system change as a contributing factor but that was about it.

Well you've got serious reading comp issues. It's amazing how often you screw up say concepts

I honestly don't think Shrubs makes the distinction. Reality is negative to him.

Thats the mark of insanity.
No, insanity is having five years of shitty offenses and then thinking because we hire a guy who had Drew and Sean leading their team the LSU offense will now be record setting.

no reason to be negative at this point.
Let me see if I get you right. Before we had a coach with all kind of wins and hardware. You found all kind of reasons to be negative. Now, we have a coach with no wins to speak of and zero hardware in five years of coaching, but there is no reason to be negative.
News flash. You don't get to decide when its ok to be negative and when it isn't for anyone but you.

Seems like you would be miserable complaining all the time
There's nothing about this years group you think will improve this year? Nothing to be excited about? No hope whatsoever?
You don't get naturally a little optimistic in the offseason? The OU know, like most fans do?

Of course you would take it to the extreme, make an argument no one has made.
No one has said there's nothing to be excited about, and that there's no hope.
On the other hand, you have your head in the clouds if you don't know that there's an 800 pound gorilla in Tuscaloosa that we couldn't have looked worse against waiting for us again. Knowing that we have two strikes right off the bat means that the team has to otherwise be flawless to get to the playoff. There's nothing negative or positive about that. It's reality.
Now the coach and the team could be flawless the rest of the way. That's the hope, and that's what we can be excited about. Drawing to an inside straight is exciting when it looks like it could happen.

If Jimbo was here we could have gone 8-5 last year and they would be sunshine pumpers...this negativity is all bc they hated the hire and refuse to move on and see that the positives outnumber the negatives.

It's ok earl. You're getting a dose of the truth. It doesn't surprise that you react negatively. It's what you do in every instance. Because it's all you know.

Yep, it's easy to see.
The offseason is the best time to get their anger out. They'll simmer down when the season starts until we lose a game, then it will be like they never left.

You wanna know what's weird? You, shrubs and Ben bring up the hire more than anyone else.

Jump to the extreme much, Rog?
I already told you earlier I expected the offense to improve. How come I have to be shaking pom-poms like you to not be declared miserable.
Lighten up. You will make yourself miserable trying to get everyone to agree with you all the time.

Just calling out Goldfishes inconsistency Earl
inconsistencies like saying a very inexperienced 2012 lsu offense shouldve have similar offensive output as 2013
and then saying 2018 gets a pass because of inexperience.
inconsistencies like saying miles didnt get fired for wins and losses and then claiming a 3 loss 2019 lsu gets O on the hotseat?
