Different skill set.
Different skill LEVEL. I can tell a guitar player who practices 2 hours a day from one who practices 2 hours a month.
And I can tell a WR who is getting 1000 reps a week from a WR who doesn't get 1000 reps in the entire off-season.
Clemson WRs and Bama WRs were playing 50 levels above LSUs last season. And it wasn't raw talent - it was reps.

But, we had an all-time WR coach. Some were claiming the best ever.

Eh, debatable. Chase has similar body control, but not the raw speed.

dont forget our oc was deathly allergic to short and intermediate routes.

I've addressed it all before.
So you agree that Buckeye's position is idiotic?

I was doing some quick research.
Waffle Jeaux does need to calm down. He did the same thing to me yesterday or the day before.
He asked me a question, then about 3 minutes later, he asked it again and practically demanded I answer it.
Don't wander away and get something to eat or drink, go to the bathroom or get involved in another thread or whatnot. JEAUX WANTS ANSWERS!!!

Which one?

There were a few. Space Cowboy comes to mind first. That clown was all over Sullivan like he was Bill Walsh.

Well the WRs improved throughout the season but Sullivan wasn't agame changer.
I appreciate the work he did though

Ok. Then let's goto the next point of what that means. Year one under Coach O we had Mickey Joseph which wasn't good. Then we get Sullivan in year 2 which you're now saying wasn't good either. That makes Orgeron 0 for 2 in hiring WR coaches. What makes anyone so sure that he hit the jackpot this time? Third time's the charm?

Let's see. Man there are some doozies he's said.
1. Burrow is a top 5 QB right now, and there's no QB that's definitely better than him.
2. He's at least as good as Dwayne Haskins
3. Tua's not the best QB in the country
4. Burrow's being held back by playcalling, WRs, was held back by Urban Meyer.
5. Burrow will be a top 5 pick.
I have to think of more, but that's a start.

(tho Sullivan was the passing coordinator - hope to hell he was the problem on that)

The WR corp came in very inexperienced

SPOT on!
On #1 I'd add top-5 in skills and ability - the stats (for the dim-witted) will come with the new scheme, improved O-Line and WRs

hey rodger...........
it seems Buckeye believes our passing game needed fixing.
why arent you calling him a simpleton?
is it because you dont care what he believes as long as he thinks O is the best coach in the sec besides saban?

Disagree
Not last year
Agree
Raw stats? Probably. But we don't need PlayStation numbers. We will never throw 500 times.
Nah
Feel better?

Says the fool that was crying and whining to OPTIMAX CAT about being picked on last night.
Let's see, I call ben "Henery Hawk", he calls me a "fricking drunken lush." Yep, I'm the bad guy.
I call someone "Waffle Jeaux", ben calls someone a "worthless bitch" and tells that poster to "go frick himself." Once again, I'm the bad guy.
Good thing we have ben here on the rant keeping everyone in line.

Don't know for sure on Brady getting WRs their daily off-season reps - Sure didn't like the drops at the Spring game. The change in scheme alone should be enough to vastly improve production.
