How do you get 50ies? The LSU offense in 2018 was almost in the 70ies. We wish it had been good enough to get to the 50ies. Jumping from 70 to 20 would be a major step to take for offense run by E who has shown no such ability in his career that I know.

think 3300-3500 yards passing and 300-400 yards rushing is attainable. I'm pretty sure it would be a record for LSU QB's

Burrow threw for almost 2900 yards last year in a less than ideal situation. He was figuring it out towards the end. Just think about what he can do in 2019. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go higher than 3500.

I'm staying with 3300-3500. I think the Running game will be improved and Brennen will get some playing time as well.

Yeah I think Burrow will be improved but it won’t necessarily show that much in overall passing yards. I think it will show in his efficiency stats and our overall offensive efficiency stats. I think we will have an improved o-line and better running game which will help overall

who knew that a win against a mid major that gave up 34 points and 445 yards in a single half against Temple would cause a 180 degree turn

I haven't turned. I still have rope and pitchfork in hand. I just choose to believe....until proven otherwise....that weve made a concerted effort to change the offense.

There's no reason to believe it wont be better.

People like Groupee...who suck at life and whose whole family has probably killed themselves already....prefer to wallow in anger and resentment...instead of looking forward to a new season with renewed optimism.

If you support this line of thinking, that would make you a miserable mofo as well. Go for it.

It's turned into an "us vs them" fest. Those who want the coach to fail, vs those who want the coach to succeed.

Regardless of what they claim, they do indeed want the current guy out.

Nearly everyone wants the guy to succeed Rog. Maybe there's a few out there who just can't stand the guy personally but the vast majority just want any coach who's going to get LSU winning conference titles again and in the playoffs.

If we count Orgeron's interim stints at USC and LSU, then he's been a head coach at 3 different P5 major universities for almost 7 years. His learning curve has been over and he's already proven that he's not the type of coach who can do more with less. Now that he finally has obtained "more" according to some here, he should win at a level that most fans can agree upon.

From this point on only his results must be enough merit to solidify him as a championship contending coach. Anything less just further proves what most of us here have been saying all along.

I do think a great year could change that for a few of them, not all...but a few.

I agree... but we have already seen that a great season at LSU now is suddenly open to interpretation.

Personally I don't care who the coach is, I will support the program and remain optimistic. I'm not going to spend months trying to demean everything that happens, like they do.

I will support the program as well but I'll simultaneously hold the million dollar head coach and his staff directly accountable for ALL program results. I can't pretend to be completely optimistic that Orgeron will do something in 2019 that he has never done as a head coach anywhere. This will change and it will be much easier when/if Orgeron wins his first title of some kind.

I'm pretty sure that's what the overwhelming majority of people do. As for myself I think improvement has to be shown this season. I think that's what we've been building for.

Do you read the stupid shite he posts? He is the consummate killjoy. He cant be positive about anything LSU. At least, when Miles was still around, I was optimistic at the start of each season to see if changes were going to be made.
I didnt start the season mad at the whole fking world.

Frick that dude.

I think we should compete for the West this season with this roster. Hopefully our freshman RBs live up to the hype.

Last season was the first one that I can remember where we didn't have a stud at RB. Brossette was solid though.

Red, everyone knows you are part hypocrite. Don't get mad at me because I called you what everyone knows you to be. You post name calling O and your claims of him causing LSU to fail is there for all to see. The only difference in my posting from yours is I don't try to sugar coat anything by finding some big difference when in any year we make our opinions known.

Brossette did far better than I expected but he missed a lot of opportunity being too slow to the hole.

But ended up having a pretty decent season.

I think both Emory and Davis will. I would have been happy with just one of them this class.

Wrong. Because I dont deny railing Miles when he did stupid shite....frequently. A hypocrite denies doing what he accuses others of doing.

Wut in the everloving frick does this mean?

Did I roast O for fking up at times? Yes, yes I did. But I got over it and moved on.

LSU averaged 402 yards per game which put us right at 70 mark for all teams. You can be as optimistic as you want and I hope you are right, but nothing in O's or E's coaching careers show them to be capable of 50 spot move in one season. You call that negative. I call it realistic.
