“Been getting some questions on this. I can confirm that #LSU walk-on QB Andre Sale is eligible to play this season after receiving a waiver from the NCAA. Sale (likely the team's No. 3 QB) transferred in from Tennessee Tech after starting 7 games there last season.

Think about it, Sale is the only qb on the roster with extensive, meaningful game time experience. Not mop up. Not scrimmage. Sure it's not D1, but of all the qbs, including the ones just transferring, he has got a season of "live" action already on his resume. He makes for a great back up.
And, he already feels comfortable wearing an LSU uniform.
