They already pitched against each other once. I'm pretty sure Kade went 5-6 scoreless and Doyle gave up 4-5 runs in 3-4 innings.

Kade gave up 2 homers late. Still a good game for him. Only giving up 3 hits in 6 innings striking out 9. He might end up with his first L this season if his team can’t score another run.

I'm struggling to understand why Kade is still in AA when he goes out week after week and proves he is ready for a promotion

AA almost always has more overall prospect talent than AAA. AA is more of e developmental league whereas AAA is kind of a holdover spot or place for guys who just aren't quite good enough to make the majors. He'll get better looks in AA against a bunch of fearless young guys as opposed to older, more cautious guys in AAA who are just kind of buying time hoping to get a call up.
