Still think it's a longevity thing. The fact that we've had to deal with this same shite for 3 years is what I think has people up in arms about it for the most part. Obviously there are other problems, but because these 2 are so close in talent and neither one is a stand out star, the situation will create 2 divided camps. It's just how it is. I don't think LSU fans hate their players other than in this situation, and I think it's likely relegated to a few people with too much time or emotion on their hands.

"outfall" =/= lawyer.
I say you're a race-baiting troll.

Nothing you said can be legitimately disputed.

From an outsider, honestly, and this is just being blunt - it appears some of you have BIG issues with race. That's sad, as we are in 2011, and it kinda reinforces stereotypes about Louisiana.
There it is. The race card.
Jefferson against UGA:
5-13 30 yards 1 TD, 3 sacks
One intentional grounding
No first downs the ENTIRE first half

Less than 2% of my post had anything to do with race. And again, I said, "SOME" people are driven by it. It was by no means an indictment on all, or even a majority of LSU fans..
As for "pot calling kettle", I'm not saying you can't critique a player. Locker and Stanback (two former running QB we've had) were dissected and their weaknesses were exposed at length. Sure, a ton of us said, "dang..what a bone headed decisions".
With that said, we didn't hope they fail, disavow them as Huskies, etc., which appears to go on here. Stanbach moved to WR in the NFL and we are always rooting for him. People were estatic that JAke was drafted #8 (though we all understand that out of all the QBs, he needs the most time --he ran a wing-T offense in H.S. and it showed in college).
Anyways....back to other things. I'm looking forward to heading down to LA next year. And I hope you guys kick Bama's arse.

quote:I think this is more true than most of the other answers. As an emphasis, go look at the last of Edwards' wins. We had the head of the KKK running for governor, and a lot of people thought it would be funny to cast a vote for him initially.
To the OP:
I cannot ever explain the blatant stupidity of so many LSU fans. I guess they just have to have something to bitch about. We went through so many lean years I am just happy to be where we are.
It has nothing to do with race, is has something to do with the ability to string 2 cognitive thoughts together and form an intelligent opinion, the Lee bitchers find this a challenge.
We elected Edwin Edwards governor 4 times, so obviously Louisiana has its share of fools.
The Grand Wizard made the runoffs, and yep he did have some support from racists. Edwards then won by probably the biggest margain in history as people came to their senses; the clown thief being by far the lesser of two evils over the racist.
Most of what we say and do as fans here is usually left unsaid, but thought a lot, in other venues. We have a little less inhibition than other states/cultures.

Wolverine, when Locker was there, did ya'll have another QB that was as experienced as Jake? Because this part of the equation you seem to be lacking. If we had 1 QB and just a rookie behind him, we would probably be like you, support him, that's all ya got. But we have 2, one a runner the other a passer. Neither one can set the world on fire. But 1 had a bad game and lost the starting position during the game. The other had a bad game and stays in the whole game. If your of the fan base that questions this, then someone shouts racism like you just did.

Concerning ro/booty, ro was actually better. JJ is arguably better than jl or at worst equal to.
You are warm here, but I don't believe you quite know it yet.

It is never at all JJ's fault when the offense performs horribly he just happens to be the qb in the game!
There are a whole lot of psychological terms to describe the rabid support either of the two QB's have over the other.
I want both to go out on a high note. Looks like both may go out like they came in, unfortunately.

I'm sorry man but a lot of the people that hate JJ on here and IRL are racists. But I won't say it's the majority or anything.
Stats don't support their cause and the whining done for the "mistreatment" speaks volumes
So what's the hate for Lee. Not racists.

Rohan wasn't better than Booty?
JJ isn't equal too and arguably better than Lee?
Which part is wrong?

If you can't see it, probably no reason to try to explain it further. Your statement really isn't wrong, or much out of whack, but it probably explains why some people are not as high on JJ as they were Rohan, and it has nothing to do with race. It has to do with performance.
