There are a few white folk and black folk who play favorites based on race on this board. It takes a really stupid person to believe it's the norm.

"Can't Wait!" is what I was going for

No, it doesn't but the results usually do.

Race is part of the QB issue for some. For some, it has nothing to do with it, and its based on play, percieved attitude, character, etc, etc.
I agree. I never said it was a race thing for everyone.
And it's fairly obvious that there's something going on in the background that the fans do not know about. Cause any other time, I believe Miles would've put the backup in after halftime on Saturday.

I'm from down here and I agree that race is a large part of it. Maybe not for all, but I'd say for a lot it is almost at a subconscious level.

Right, and when people start threads wondering about it they get bashed and called "lee lovers.: It's common sense, really. Most people are wondering what is happening and it isn'just eligibility issues, or Lee wouldn't have seen the field at all. Particularly in his last home game where he just took a few meaningless snaps.

That is really interesting, especially considering how productive he typically was. I saw the threw for over 200 yards 7 times. Definitely some feast or famine with him. I guess you could say the same about JJ, just to a different degree, as he has had his moments, for sure.
yeah, I only knew that about Locker after looking up his stats with all the JJ in the NFL talk. was watching Locker play vs. the Falcons a few wks ago and remembered that a lot of the same knocks ppl have on JJ (more athlete than QB/ inconsistent accuracy) were said about Locker.

I never said it was eligibility issues. He's in the dog house right now. That's pretty obvious.
Those people are getting bashed for the way they defend Lee and get all emotional about it and for calling out our coach for something they have no clue about.

Sorry to bust your stereotype of us coonasses and rednecks, but it's not about race. Go back and look at the Josh Booty-Rohan Davey situation. Most of us "racists" supported Davey over Booty.

No, it goes beyond that. It has to be something else. Let's dig deeper, involve the OP

You guys even turn on former players (e.g., Jamarcuss Russell). What is up with that?

At UW, last year we had Jake Locker. He was super fast, could probably play RB in the NFL, but he was a terrible QB.
Pot meet Kettle.
and btw, I thought that Locker played exceptionally well against us a few years ago and LSU would have killed to have him play for us. We're talking about the 8th pick in the NFL draft, right?
but of course you are probably a troll alter who thought we needed one more JJ vs JL thread.

Concerning ro/booty, ro was actually better. JJ is arguably better than jl or at worst equal to.

I grew up in Louisiana. You would know the answer if you grew up in Louisiana, too.
It's not based on logic.

Please link to the game Lee started and played an entire half without the team getting one first down?
Posted on 12/5/11 at 4:27 pm to Rudy40
So that had nothing to do with the entire offense sucking? I told te guy sitting next to me that I thought we should bring lee in but was worried how he would do with our putrid O-line play.

Not racist, Meauxrons.

It is never at all JJ's fault when the offense performs horribly he just happens to be the qb in the game!
