Lee has to be your starter at this point.

He still scares me because, mechanically, he still does the same things that caused so many turnovers in 2008, but Jefferson has regressed to such a point that he is no longer an option.

This offense could be pretty good with Lee and RS taking all the snaps at QB

Then where will JJ line up?

From my eyes

You can see attitude? I'm not saying that he doesn't have a good or poor attitude, I just want to know how you make that assessment. I've never gotten the impression that he has a poor attitude by watching him.

How about pouting on the bench when JL is leading the offense on the field instead of supporting your team? The other QBs have clip boards or head phones on, so they know what's going on. Not Jefferson; he just sits by himself.

I've seen JL congratulate him more than once for great plays, but I did not see that once from JJ yesterday. But, it's difficult to do that when you're sulking on the bench. It's like he thinks no matter how badly he does it's someone else's fault. You can see it in his body language and the looks on his face. Poor attitudes=poor leaders.

If I just ran 83 yards for a TD in Tiger Stadium, I'd be stripping down naked and humping on the goal post, but does that mean I have a bad attitude?

His mechanics caused the INT's? Really? What mechanical problem lead to INT's?

+1

Again, look at his face in The Advocate photo today and ask me what you see. So, his QB skills are poor and his leadership is poor-why in the H E L L is he still playing?

read his quotes after the games, he's answers questions with just being happy to be undefeated, and says he's not worried about anything. Takes on the personality of his headcoach.

Throwing off his back foot.

Other than the long pass to Randle (which was pretty) he never stepped into a ball thrown down the field. This was the reason he threw the INT in the endzone and the reason he almost threw another INT in the endzone. The thing that worries me most was that he wasn't even pressured on some of these throws; he simply doesn't step into the throw most of the time.

That being said, he has to start at this point. If we can simply throw short routes accurately, we can move the ball.

Watch him after something bad happens - Is he positive and encouraging or do his shoulders sag and his head shake?

Does he call out his teammates on the field or does he offer them encouragement?

When taken out of the game, is he upbeat and happy, or visibly disturbed - perhaps even argumentative? Does he cheer on his replacement and his teammates or does he retire to the bench to "cool down" and drink water?

When interviewed, does he talk about himself or his teammates? Does he take the blame for problems - even if they weren't his fault?

A decent coach can see bad attitude symptoms from a mile away and Jefferson has a ton.

Yes they did!

He makes your offense much more of a threat due to the fact that he can actually stretch the field and hit receivers in stride. If the coaches just said, Lee you're the guy and we're behind you 100% I bet his confidence level would skyrocket.

Agree 100%
