Watch him after something bad happens - Is he positive and encouraging or do his shoulders sag and his head shake?
Does he call out his teammates on the field or does he offer them encouragement?
When taken out of the game, is he upbeat and happy, or visibly disturbed - perhaps even argumentative? Does he cheer on his replacement and his teammates or does he retire to the bench to "cool down" and drink water?
When interviewed, does he talk about himself or his teammates? Does he take the blame for problems - even if they weren't his fault?
A decent coach can see bad attitude symptoms from a mile away and Jefferson has a ton.

Nice read - too bad Miles won't take the advice.
Jordan Jefferson has many issues.
