To paraphrase one of my favorite movies: Have IQ's dropped sharply while I've been away?

We have an exceptional defense. It's ranked number three in the country. It's stymied spread offenses (TAMU), west coast offenses (Washington), power running offenses (SC), and bizarre hybrid offenses (UF). How in frick's name is Bama going to score 30 or 40 points against that defense...in Tiger Stadium...at night? we may lose, we may not, but we aren't going to get blown out.

Against our defense? Hell naw!

"we may lose, we may not, but we aren't going to get blown out."

The only way Bama gets more than 20 is through the LSU offense committing turnovers.

Which is not impossible, unfortunately.

Now, this may be true, but I sure hope the hell not.

I mean it is a message board. Would you rather if people posted their opinions and every response was "Ok, nice opinion man."

That's kind of what we are asking some of you folks. It seems that there is a certain group of people who really dislike any objectivity.

There is a better chance of a freight train being run on your wife, and from the way you talk, you'd probably just let it happen and watch.

You're all class
.

At least I'm not a sopping wet pussy complaining on the internet about my team getting beat down 8 days before the game.

There's a difference between objectivity and stupidity.

If you want to make this prediction then give some analysis and reasons to promote discussion, instead of saying "blowout because I'm a realist"

Well, it kind of makes it worse when anything other than "pumpin sunshine" is met with "frick you you fricking frick."

Everyone thinks everyone else is stupid, we get it. Maybe trying to convince someone of your opinion makes for a better message board than constant poster bashing.

this line with Bama -- 8.5, 10, whatever.

In all my years as a fan, which has been a goodly while, I've never been so concerned about a blow out against LSU, and I've never "bet" against LSU.

However, I think the Tide is going to embarrass the Tigers, and by at least 3 touchdowns.

Miles would have to come out with a whole new scheme on offense for LSU to have a chance, and we all know that is not going to happen.

Anything is possibile and if LSU plays it's worst, then the game certainly could get ugly. However I expect them to play well, if they limit big mistakes it will be a tough hard fought game. I do think we will need Bama to make mistakes and they have not been. Unless we find a passing game Bama by 7-10.

They've always been this way, the morons just feel empowered to post now. They'll crawl back in their holes after 11/3.

I think Les Miles' handling of LSU QBs since he came to LSU sucks EVEN MORE.

Sure, my first post in this thread was giving information on why I like our chances of winning, but you can't be shocked when flames are met with flames.
