I don't get it, like smeone hates LSU just because they don't expect us to win EVERY game forever.

We have had horrible offensive struggles, that won't get better against the top defense in AMerica! OUr struggles aren't limited to the players, the coaching has been suspect, to say the least, as well. We DO NOT have the resources in coaching on the offensive side that we thought we would this season. We lost a great coach to limited duties.

Our defense is tremendous and should keep it close. But is the offense struggles and keeps them on the field, it will be a LONG day.

We've already admitted how tired we were against Fla!!

Be realistic and its not bad that LSU is the underdog...that being said, TIger stadium can carry these men to the next level of play!

I feel just the opposite. At +8.5 I feel it is the bet of the decade! Are you serious, giving us 8.5 points at home on a Saturday night? I may be wrong but I will lay some money down on the Tigers if that line holds when my bookie comes out with the odds Monday

Are you just overlooking the dominating self loathing posts? I can't possibly believe that you aren't seeing them.

There is the "chicken little" concern and then there's the clear perception of a very probabilistic outcome. I have the latter.

That's fine, but the team won with very little offensive output last year. There is a chance. Will LSU score 20 pts? No way in hell. It may not be necessary though

LSU is not expected to win. Even if you love LSU to the core, an LSU win will be an upset at this point and you all know it.

Well yeah, everyone sees we're a home underdog and will be playing the #1 team.

do not believe LSU is a better "team" than Alabama at this point, and it is a team sport so expect the Tigers to fall short UNLESS everyone on LSU can live up to their potential.....this simply has not happened yet on both sides of the ball....but Bama has accomplished this, hence the reason they are favored.

Being realistic isn't bad. ANd if we put it together next week, realistically we can beat them!

There's nothing wrong with saying or thinking this. But all these "LSU fans" predicting a lopsided loss and calling themselves realists gets on peoples nerves.

What happened to the times where LSU fans thought we could beat anyone? How can you possibly enjoy being a fan if you're already giving up on the game a week before?

Next week, LSU has as much of a chance to beat Bama as they did in the regular season last year.

I don't think Auburn has the bleeding vag yall have right now.

I am a realist, we could lose 2 more games this year, we could win out.

REPEATING JUST THE NEGATIVES ALL OF THE TIME MAKES YALL MISERABLE frickS.

ONCE AGAIN GROW A SET, YOU WILL FIND LIFE ALOT MORE SATISFYING.

Thanks for the advice. Do you find this OP to be a realistic outlook on the team?

I hope when I check in next Sunday (Nov. 4), I'm wrong. But it could be (i.e. very likely will be) me and crickets before the meltdown.

There isn't a rational person in the world who wouldn't alter some predictions based on a deflated offense and a sketchy special teams. Everyone knows it's dependent solely on the defense, which isn't a good thing.

There isn't a person out there, including yourself, who hasn't changed their opinion of this team over the course of the season.

I've never said otherwise. My point is this OP isn't a realistic outlook just because he describes it as one.

Serious question? What makes you think Alabama will blow LSU out? I know that Alabama has better stats so far and their passing game has been more consistent but what makes you think they totally dominate the game? If you factor in the home field advantage, the underdog role and revenge factor, I just don't see LSU getting blown out. The teams aren't THAT dissimilar.

to him, it apparently is. I doubt anyone expects LSU to beat Alabama. Everyone should give them a chance though, it happened last year.

main talking points for the sunshine pumpers. Its not a secret that our offense cannot score points, we have zero balance. That is a receipe for disaster even with our great defense. If lsu fans fans cannot see that, they need to remove their purple n gold blinders.

I actually see it more like a 21-16 or 21-13 Bama win if they win

I like our chances to make the game really close
