He is actually a worse passer than even MVB. I mean, you obviously love a running qb...but if you can't pass the ball, you aren't winning a championship...period. You would probably like him at LSU....sounds like. He will not be at A&M next year. Their fans know he sucks arse passing, too.

people blaming the offense for the inability of baker to defend mobile qbs...or they are saying we had lack of talent on D.
It is the scheme that he uses against Mobile QBs. He likes to blitz them, and that is playing right into their hands. Chavis, believe it or not, was a master playing mobile qbs.

That's my point. Nobody is winning a NC with Reed either. Sure, he can beat mediocre to bad teams. When he goes against a tough defense where he has to pass the ball, they are toast.

Instead of harping on about LSU, let's infuse Notre Dame into the convo. They were full butthurt for not being invited to the party. But the win over A&M by Miami today just reaffirmed why the playoff committee knew what they were doing when they chose Miami over the Irish for the last at-large slot.
