Yeah, that was my concern with Hyman, they had some shenanigans going on with the football team and the NCAA last year, the agent-gate stuff I believe.

I wonder if Dan Radokovich (sp?) would consider coming back? I think he was highly thought of during his time at LSU. We need to just say no to Moreau.

I was never impressed with a guy who played football at a big time program like Lehigh, but most of all officiated over the disaster known as the Duke lacrosse rape (not) fiasco. Good riddance.

just got a phone call that says nothing is done deal with alleva, and UT reports are premature.
chancellor putting together package that may keep him in tiger town.
Also, if he leaves, LSU could collect 1.75 mil on buyout clause. $350 base salary for 5 years of remaining contract.

the guy i spoke to said they think it's bc he thinks some sanctions are coming down on lsu in the future but i doubt that.... after seeing old joe out at ruth's chris a few times and considering how big of a douchebag he is i'm guessing it's all about the paper... i'm sure he'll be getting a nice raise.

I'd be okay with hiring from within, specifically Verge Ausberry. He's Louisiana born and raised, knows what it's like to be a part of big-time football, and is intelligent and personable. He'd be a nice fit.
