Yes, duh. And he doesn’t want to incriminate himself directly to the NCAA in what his bosses are framing as a friendly chat.

So you are telling me that he has something to be afraid of?

I thought the position of the Wade defense is that he's as pure as the driven snow. This is new to me.

Shut the frick up, nobody has said that.

All people have said is that there are very limited facts out and Wade would be foolish to admit to anything with the ncaa present

Yeah, heaven forbid he stand up for himself.

I hope you didn't work in business. You must've been taken advantage of more times than you're capable of counting.

When you "stand up for yourself" and disobey a direct order from your boss you must expect that something unpleasant is likely to happen. You know this and you accept it. You weigh the cost/benefit of the situation.

It's amazing that after 2+ weeks of this news, he's COMPLETELY missed the point.

Must feel like a huge waste of time for Gray

Again only using part of the story for propaganda.

Now you see that's what I've been waiting for.

Someone finally has produced an intelligent, well thought out, convincing argument full of facts and important evidence.

TigerDavid35 you are a rare prize.

So it's acceptable to you if a superior does something unethical (springing on the NCAA last minute) just because he's a boss? A subordinate is supposed to go along with it?

You read his contract? You act like he’s an hourly employee like you. At WW’s level and being a state employee, he has more rights than you guys that work at convenience stores.

While I would love to have him on the bench coaching he is caught up in this mess and no one has come out and said that was not his voice.

Basketball is so corrupt and everyone knows this goes on all the time but when you have the FBI involved I do not blame Wade for zipping it up.

As for King and Alleva they can hold hands on the Mississippi River bridge and jump off together.

Oh. What part of disobeying a direct order from his boss did I leave out? Did he actually attend that meeting? So is it your position that Wade attended the meeting which pissed Alleva off? And since Alleva wants Wade gone for still un spoken reasons he put out a story that Wade refused the meeting and suspended him. Is that the part of the story I missed?

Heavy stuff dude.

The NCAA is not the owner in this situation. They are more like the mob. They don't give two fricks about LSU.

All they care about is finding reasons to justify their existence.

And where in his contract does it say he has the right to refuse a meeting with his boss? I'm sure a famous lawyer like yourself knows all of that contract by heart.

So you would have gone to that meeting even if you were totally innocent?

If this is such a horrific offense why haven't they fired him?

It’s obvious that Gray Tiger is a King and Alleva shill.
He ignores pertinent information and only picks certain facts to further an agenda.
Keep up the partial truths and lies.
Everyone sees it.

You make your choices and you take the consequences.

If we are to continue this "what if" game so many of you are playing, if Wade is clean who gives a shite who else is in the meeting?

What is your agenda here? Simply To be a dick? To be correct?

You do realize in life, being correct isn't the most intelligent or best route to take. Your wife may look fat and dumpy in a dress, but when she asks how she looks, you don't say the correct answer.

Regardless of whether or not Wade should have or shouldn't have gone to the meeting. It was beyond stupid for Alleva and F King to ask for the meeting. Any intelligent executive has to have vision and understand what is the best strategy to take.

Asking for a meeting that puts your cash cow employee in jeopardy is not very intelligent no matter how you look at this situation.

When your cash cow employee is subpoenaed by a court to testify on behalf of the defense in a trial in APRIL. You don't ask for a meeting in March. You don't put him in a situation where he is putting himself in any legal jeopardy.

Who cares if he said some highly suspicious things on tape? Based on what was released, no one can make a clear, concise, legal argument that he did anything wrong.

So............ wait until AFTER the season concludes. Wait until AFTER the trial. Do the prudent, intelligent, strategic thing and hold off any meeting until AFTER the trial.

This whole thing is beyond stupid and anyone who sides with our administration shows their lack of strategic understanding of how to handle complex issues.
